I have to say the book does get you thinking. I found the best online business for me was trading and then got Trading Online by Alpesh Patel to get me up to speed on that. They work good together.

Well done.

Reminds me of a Monty Python sketch – ‘to play the flute, first blow in one end, then run your fingers up and down the outside of it’. That’s about the level of this text. Don’t bother.

After reading several “pro-active” books on online business, it is refreshing to finally find a book that doesn’t paint a too rosy a picture of the future of online commerce. The message of this book is: you can make an income from the Internet – supplemental income, at least – but will probably not become a millionaire. The Internet is not here to drive existing businesses out of business, and hence can’t claim to take their share of the market and give it to Internet entrepreneurs. It is a very informative book that, as other readers have mentioned, gets your creative juices flowing. The graphic layout of the book leaves something to be desired, however, and some of the URLs are outdated.

A great book. Tons of information and ideas that’ll get your creative juices flowing. I find myself referring to this book again and again. It could use a few more illustrations, though.

This is a good book for those who have no idea of how the internet works. I liked the descriptions of the businesses and how to get them started. The book is go for those people who are deciding a webpage architecture and what type of business they will be selling on the internet.
